Do you write a big, long list of presents you’d love for Christmas – or do you find it really hard to think of things you would like? If your nearest and dearest are asking for ideas, why not get a quilter’s present list together? Christmas can be a great time to get all those tools and notions that you know would make your sewing easier, but can feel just too expensive to buy for yourself.
Top of my list this year is a new pair of scissors. I know I mainly use a rotary cutter, but when I do use scissors I want them to be sharp, straight….and really, really pretty.
The scissors on my list are:
A pair of Gingher Limited Edition Embroidery Scissors. The perfect size for having by my side when I’m hand sewing.
A pair of dressmaking shears by Ernest Wright & Son in lime green…no, purple….no, lime green….no………I’ll let Santa choose for me.
And finally, a pair of Tula Pink micro-tipped scissors. Look how shiny and shimmery they are!!
Do let us know what’s on your Christmas list (it might give us some more ideas for ours!!)
